Biography

Faiz Ali is a dedicated academic specializing in business finance, financial modeling, investment management, and tourism. He has served as a Senior Lecturer and Head of the Department of Business Management and Commerce at the University of Baltistan, Skardu, where he led curriculum development, research supervision, and academic leadership initiatives. He holds an MSc in Management Sciences and is currently a PhD candidate in Tourism and Hospitality at Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, where his doctoral research focuses on quantifying social value in the adventure tourism sector. He currently serves as a Visiting Faculty member at multiple Barcelona business schools, bridging his finance background with interdisciplinary work in tourism.

Dedicated since 2002 to cross-cultural education with a global perspective, United International Business School (UIBS) is the main constituent school of United Institute, an established multi-campus, multi-disciplinary, student-centered and institutionally-accredited collegiate private higher education institution rooted in applied sciences and the regional economy.
