Biography

Maryam Varela is a recognized expert in the application of emotional intelligence in business. She holds a PhD in Emotional Intelligence from Bircham University, a master’s degree in Human Resources with a specialization in Communication from Universite Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in Belgium, a postgraduate certificate in Industrial Psychology from New York University, and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Central University of Iowa. A certified coach through the Tavistock Institute of London, she has delivered over 500 workshops and seminars for leading corporations. She is president of El Mundo de las Emociones and a faculty member at UIBS.
