Biography

Samer Ajour El-Zein is a specialist in finance, sustainability, and financial risk management. He holds a PhD in Business Administration from Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, an MSc in Economics and Finance from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and an MBA from UIBS Barcelona. He joined UIBS in 2013 and teaches courses in Financial Management at the Barcelona campus at both undergraduate and graduate levels. He is also an Advance HE Senior Fellow and has lectured at EAE Business School, Universitat de Barcelona, and Geneva Business School. His published research focuses on sustainable finance, ESG investment, and cryptocurrency markets, with over 200 citations on Google Scholar.

Dedicated since 2002 to cross-cultural education with a global perspective, United International Business School (UIBS) is the main constituent school of United Institute, an established multi-campus, multi-disciplinary, student-centered and institutionally-accredited collegiate private higher education institution rooted in applied sciences and the regional economy.
