When choosing a business school, one of the most important questions you can ask is: who has verified the quality of this program? Accreditations and certifications exist precisely to answer that question and at UIBS, we are proud to have three of our programs officially certified by Cualificam.

What Is Cualificam?

CUALIFICAM is a quality certification procedure developed by the Fundación para el Conocimiento Madri+d, a public foundation supported by the Community of Madrid and Spain’s Ministry of Science and Innovation. It is designed to evaluate and certify the quality of Professional Master’s programs, ensuring alignment with the standards of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).

Earning a Cualificam seal is not automatic. Programs undergo a rigorous review process that assesses curriculum design, learning outcomes, faculty profiles, admission standards, and professional relevance. It is an independent, third-party validation that the program meets established academic and professional standards.

Which UIBS Programs Are Cualificam Certified?

Three UIBS master’s programs currently hold the Cualificam certification:

Professional Master of Business Administration (MBA) Our flagship program covers the full spectrum of business management disciplines — from financial management and marketing to leadership, strategy, and sustainability. Available in on-campus, hybrid, and fully online formats, the Professional MBA is designed for ambitious professionals looking to accelerate their careers at an international level.

Professional Master in International Management (MIM) Built for students who want to operate confidently across borders and cultures, this program develops the strategic, cross-cultural, and analytical skills demanded by global organizations today.

Professional Master in Business Studies A comprehensive graduate program that provides a strong foundation in core business disciplines, preparing graduates for a broad range of roles in management, consulting, finance, and entrepreneurship.
