Personalise your path further
Optional add-ons that tailor the program to your goals. Each results in slightly different requirements, which your advisor will map out with you.

Master-level concentrations
Specialise with a concentration. On the state-recognized path it is an optional add-on (+3 courses, total 66 credits); on the private path it is an add-in that replaces electives (stays 60/90). A concentration also shifts the focus of your final project.

Global Master
Study across our campuses in Europe and Japan, and finish with an academic partner in the USA — the University of California, Berkeley or the University of California, Irvine. Program requirements typically stay the same.

Dual Master
Combine two programs into a Dual Master (90 credits total) and receive two qualifications, each mentioning 60 credits — versus one 90-credit qualification in the standard 90-credit version.

Inside the course clusters
Phase I is built from these requirements. The core requirements apply to both qualifications; the private path adds 12 credits of shared electives. Expand any row to see the course options.
