Biography

Alessandro Cappellini is a seasoned economist and academic specializing in behavioral finance, internal auditing, and agent-based financial modeling. With over 20 years of experience in financial institutions, academia, and research, he has held roles in managing consultancy and strategic planning, and currently works in risk management and quantitative internal auditing. He is a lecturer at Swiss Business School and UIBS, and co-founder of Impact Hub Torino. Alessandro holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Turin and is a Certified Internal Auditor. He is also active in social entrepreneurship and brings strong technical skills in programming and machine learning to his teaching in economics, finance, and management.

Dedicated since 2002 to cross-cultural education with a global perspective, United International Business School (UIBS) is the main constituent school of United Institute, an established multi-campus, multi-disciplinary, student-centered and institutionally-accredited collegiate private higher education institution rooted in applied sciences and the regional economy.

UIBS organizes professionally-oriented and flexible study programs with multiple starting dates at the Undergraduate/Bachelor’s and (Post)Graduate/Master’s levels in the field of business and management, targeted at metropolitan minds.
