Biography

Dr. Maite Ibarretxe is a Sustainability and Innovation Executive, academic, and consultant who joined UIBS in 2018. She teaches Entrepreneurship and Human Resource Management at the Amsterdam campus and serves as Chair of the Examination Board. She holds a PhD in Business Law from the University of Deusto-Heidelberg, an MBI from Deusto-Cambridge Judge Business School, and certifications from INSEAD and Harvard in Value Innovation and Creating Shared Value. Her career spans leadership roles at Kuwait Petroleum International, EIT Climate-KIC, C&A Foundation, and Schneider Electric. She is a contributing author to the Harvard Journals and founder of IBARRETXE Associates consultancy.
