Student achievement
At UIBS, student achievement is monitored through a structured set of indicators that reflect academic progress, learning outcomes, and career readiness. Results are reviewed as part of our continuous improvement cycle and are made available to stakeholders and the public in line with ACBSP expectations.
What we mean by “Student Achievement”
Student achievement can include outcomes such as completion, retention/attrition, employment or career progression, acceptance into further study, and other outcomes that demonstrate student success. We track relevant indicators for our accredited business programs and publish a consolidated snapshot for public review
How we track student achievement
We track student achievement across four outcome areas:
How results drive improvement
UIBS uses student achievement evidence to guide continuous improvement in learning design, academic support, and professional preparation. This aligns with ACBSP’s emphasis on systematic assessment and performance measurement for continuous improvement.
Examples of improvement uses include:
- Targeting curriculum and learning support in areas identified as high‑impact for student performance.
- Enhancing assessment administration practices to improve comparability and data robustness over time.
- Using employer feedback to strengthen career readiness and applied learning.
