Student achievement

At UIBS, student achievement is monitored through a structured set of indicators that reflect academic progress, learning outcomes, and career readiness. Results are reviewed as part of our continuous improvement cycle and are made available to stakeholders and the public in line with ACBSP expectations.

What we mean by “Student Achievement”

Student achievement can include outcomes such as completion, retention/attrition, employment or career progression, acceptance into further study, and other outcomes that demonstrate student success. We track relevant indicators for our accredited business programs and publish a consolidated snapshot for public review

Alumni Career Insights

Our alumni are a testament to the practical and global value of our programs. From innovative startups to multinational corporations, our graduates hold positions across industries and continents. Their success reflects not only their professional skills but also the cross-cultural competencies developed through our international, English-taught programs. Our LinkedIn page offers a closer look at where they are now, what they do, and how they’ve built their careers in a diverse and interconnected world.

How we track student achievement

We track student achievement across four outcome areas:

We monitor student progress through to completion and report awarded degrees by program and year in our downloadable data file.

All graduating students complete an outbound learning outcomes assessment administered online by an external provider. The assessment is used for improvement and does not affect GPA or graduation requirements.

Internships and applied learning experiences are evaluated through structured employer/mentor feedback. These results support ongoing collaboration with industry partners and help inform curricular and support-service improvements.

We review alumni career insights using aggregated third‑party data sources (e.g., LinkedIn Alumni insights) to understand where graduates work, what roles they take on, and how their careers develop over time.

How results drive improvement

UIBS uses student achievement evidence to guide continuous improvement in learning design, academic support, and professional preparation. This aligns with ACBSP’s emphasis on systematic assessment and performance measurement for continuous improvement.

Examples of improvement uses include:

  • Targeting curriculum and learning support in areas identified as high‑impact for student performance.
  • Enhancing assessment administration practices to improve comparability and data robustness over time.
  • Using employer feedback to strengthen career readiness and applied learning.

Methodology

First‑destination outcomes are reported using a 12‑month window in the downloadable file for consistency and clarity.
Graduating students complete an outbound assessment used for improvement purposes.
Institutional academic reporting, employer feedback, and aggregated alumni insights from third‑party platforms.

The downloadable file is updated on a routine cycle and remains accessible from this page.
